CONCORD PARK NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING
*** Monday, October 2nd, 2006 *** 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM
*** 2551 Lynn Avenue ***
AGENDA
Welcome and Introductions
Happy Autumn! The summer is over, and the children are back from vacation, running to and from school, and playing in our neighborhood. Let's keep them safe by slowing down, obeying the speed limit (25 mph) and watching out, for Kids' sake!
Are You Prepared? If you and your family attended the Emergency Preparedness Fair at Todos Santos Plaza on September 23rd, then you got the chance to see what Medical Triage is, how to extinguish a small fire, examine an Emergency Response Vehicle, and speak with volunteers who were there to answer your questions. There were free prizes and gifts and goodies for sale. It was fun!
City Council, Redevelopment Plan The Concord City Council will meet on Tuesday, October 3rd, to vote on the proposed Redevelopment Plan Amendment. Dave Pitman will be speaking at our meeting this Monday, and will inform us on how things are coming along.
Board Election Nominations will be taken and recorded early in November, and the Board Election will take place at the December meeting.
