Contra Costa Times Reporter Visits
A reporter from the Contra Costa Times plans to visit our meeting
this week; this reporter is interested in meeting people from our neighborhood.

Big Health Fair, October 8th!
The Monument Community Health Fair is planned for this coming Saturday,
October 8th, at Meadow Homes Park from 11 :00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Features included: Healthy Cooking Demonstration, Kaiser Permanente Tent
with Health Screening and Information, Entertainment, and other attractions.

One Last CERTs Class This Year!
The final CERT class begins October 26th, has Thanksgiving Week off, and ends
on Saturday, December 3rd. Don't miss out. Call Karen Siemsen, 671-3184

Board Member Nominations By November
We are looking for a few dedicated people who aren't afraid to participate.
One hour a month Is all we ask. We vote In December.
