Welcome and Introductions
Naval Weapons Station Reuse Alternatives
. The City Of Concord is asking Monument Boulevard area residents to participate
in the decision process. We are an important part of the community and so they
want to incorporate our opinions and priorities. At this meeting, Dave Pitman will
present the alterative reuse concepts.
. Elton and Anna Eddy attended a meeting on 3/20/08, held by The Neighborhood
Alliance, regarding the CNWS (Concord Naval Weapons Station)
to discuss its future plans and uses. Brian Holt spoke for the East Bay
Regional Park District and a representative of the City's Advisory
Planning Department spoke for the City. More meetings will be needed.
Home Based Business Ordinance
The City Council plans to have a public hearing on Tuesday, April 8th,
at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chamber.
Dumpster Day is Saturday, June 7th
We need volunteers to Guard the Dumpsters; please call Dave Pitman, 689-0605.
National Night Out Twenty-Fifth Anniversary
This year's National Night Out will be a 25th Anniversary party, on
August 5th. Theme: The '50s. Big party; we must have more help to set up.
